miryclay, thanks for the quick reply.  Back when Wide Awake In Europe was released, I must have dismissed it as unimportant when I learned it was only on vinyl.

good i wasn't the only one that did this.

Ooh that sucks. Don't worry, I don't have U22.

Why can't you all face the reality that you are getting leftovers from the U22 voting?

You think their engineers would go back to the studio and remix/remaster some other songs that haven't been remastered yet, just for a fan club release?

It doesn't take a genius to figure it out.

All the songs that were up for voting, minus U22, minus the bonus tracks (Unknown Caller, Spanish Eyes, No Line On The Horizon), minus the non-album or non-single tracks - then you pretty much have the entire "Edge's picks" there.

Do you even think Edge actually played a hand in all this?

Come on folks, sometimes we just need not listen to all the marketing hype and be realistic.

Cheers,

J

I also heard the pope is still a catholic, is that true ?

The only confirmation I can give is that because of me, U2 are now $85 richer.

I  just got a shipping notification today. And I guess I was one of the early/lucky ones since it comes with the Zoo TV cd - according to the packing list.

Cheers,

J

Are you sure it wasn't the notification for U22 (Which is also being sent out again as part of the deluxe)? I got the notification for U22 with the ZooTV CD.

Got the U22/ZooTV shipping email too several days ago. Has anyone tried tracking it? The number they gave me is invalid. Not a big deal, though, as long as the package gets here.

Yes, I tried tracking it and it was indeed invalid.

We will have to wait and see on this.

This same issue came up last time.  I don't remember the details other than it's not really a tracking number.  At least it wasn't last time.  What's the actual phrasing?  Is it a shipping number, or a shipping confirmation number?

It says, "Tracking Information: Tracking # UPS _____________" (and then it gives a link to the UPS tracking site). Though below that, it says, "The tracking link may take 24-48 hours to show shipping progress." I don't understand that part, though, because it's been 5 days since they emailed this to me. But it is a tracking number, if we're to trust the wording.
