U2 fans are older. We might have young fans on here, but you don't see many teenagers at a U2 show.

Agree. Saw the Sydney concert in Dec 2010 and I believe I was the yongest person there... surprised that I'm 29 already and when I said the aussies I'd go to the U2 gig they kinda looked at me astonished...it sounded like "not proper for under 40 years old"  :o . All the best

LOL...i hear ya

I think it's cool that some kids in the younger generation (including myself) appreciate U2's music. It's unfortunate that more kids around my age don't listen to them.

I agree. I'm 16, and while some of my friends at school like Beautiful Day or Sometimes You Can't make It On Your Own, if I asked one of them what they though of like Acthung Baby they'd look at my blindly, which is kind of sad.

Yeah I'll play One for them and most of them have heard it once or twice on the radio but next truly 'listened' to it.

I'll be 27 in November. I became a fan just after I turned 16.

I'm 23 and I became a fan when I was 12 after seeing the Stuck In A Moment video. I'd been aware of them for about a year before that, around the time ATYCLB came out, but hadn't paid too much attention. In high school, I did know a few other kids who liked U2, but they were mainly the people who had an overall good taste in music anyways.

21.  Got into them with Beautiful Day and All That You Can't Leave Behind, but didn't get to a show until U2360 in 2009.  Saw them twice since.

I'm 48, I didn't discover them until right after The Unforgettable Fire, so I was about 21 when I got hooked.  My kids who are 18 and 15 don't like them, though there are a few songs that they admit to liking.

Just out of curiosity, what music do your kids like and who have the seen in concert or want to go see in concert?

I was 13 when I was exposed to their music I was watching the GMA U2 concert promoting NLOTH I didn't pay to much attention to them but then on the car ride to school my local classic rock station had a back to back song day going on and they played With or Without You and Where The Streets Have No Name and I was drawn to their unique sound they had so I went out and bought U218 Singles and have been hooked on them ever since.

I am 33, soon to 34 years old at this point.  I got into U2 hardcore 15 and half years ago, right around the launch of POP.  At the time, I was one of the youngest fans...I can not believe u2 have been my favorite band for nearly half of my life...

Oh man, you're so lucky, wish I was alive back then.
