Why is Maroon 5 so bad?

I don't know about you guys, but freakin' Maroon 5 is just awful. And yet everyone loves them. I don't get it. They should be made fun of at Bieber levels because they are that bad.

So what's the point of this thread? I dunno, let's just rant about how awful Maroon 5 is.

Maroon 5 is a great band. And if they were considered as equals to Justin Bieber, they would be as great as Bruce Springsteen or Coldplay

Jick is someone who isn't afraid to have an unpopular opinion and isn't shy about defending bad ideas. Some might call that stubborn and illogical, but these things are subjective.

I forgot to mention that something that bothers me on an artistic level (if that term may even be applied here) is that Maroon 5 doesn't even write their own songs anymore: they just brought in outside writers to pen songs for their latest album

Is that some sort of acknowledgement on the part of Adam Levine that he wasn't capable of creating anything quality on his own anymore? Songs About Jane and It Won't Be Soon Before Long showed that he used to be able to write songs (I didn't like those albums in particular, but they were better than "Payphone" and "One More Night". They also didn't have Wiz Khalifa)
