PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER = MLK

whats the connection between this book and the song mlk... eveyrwhere i see this song and book mentioned in the same sentence.. think the book has also been turned into a movie

The movie came out about a month ago and was touted as this generation's The Breakfast Club. It looks worthy of a viewing. I like the young leads. The TV commercial shows it w/ Imagine Dragon's "It's Time" playing as the soundtrack. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

aiwiy  i have no reason to doubt you .. what got me wondering about mlk was if you look for the song mlk on youtube everyone is saying how great mlk is and how they would never have heard it had it not been for this book and film

Yeah, I read the novel a few months back and if I'm remembering correctly it's one of the narrator's favorite songs on the mixtape.
