Would love to see the Killers (Dave Keuning's from my hometown) but haven't seen a tour date close enough to home yet.  They're definitely at the top of my "haven't seen them yet" list.  The only tickets currently on hand are for NEEDTOBREATHE in May.  I'm definitely in a concert slump following a U2/Muse/Foo Fighters/U2 string of shows during the course of the 360 tour.

i was in this boat until they announced about 4 Texas dates <i live in Dallas> a month or so ago. point is don't give up hope yet!

Morrissey had to postpone my concert due to his bleeding ulcer and barrett's esophogus...hope he heals soon.

Up next for me is SXSW...it's going to be a fulfilled week of music!

Just back from The Vaccines.  Those gents were engaging showmen, especially frontman Justin Young. He somehow manages to gesture while playing the guitar and was so facially expressive that you could picture him being a good storyteller as well.

Opening act was San Cisco. They were catchy and definitely worth a few at home listens too.

Taking pics of a Beatle tonight!

I mean sure, it's only Ringo, but it's in exactly the same venue as their only Australian tour back in 1964. Which is kinda cool.

Probably has the same air conditioning unit too.

Ask and ye shall receive!

May 31 (a Friday night) for me. School will still be in which is weird but at least I can talk about the show on Monday with one of my teachers who loves DMB.

Cool poster!

Looks like they're playing the same California venues they did last year at about the same time, too.  Sadly for Dave and friends, my experience at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine last September was one of the worst concert experiences of my life.  It wasn't Dave's fault, but the poor management of the facility and the general drunk/obnoxious/fratty behavior of the crowd made the whole evening a bummer. Wish we could just corral the morons off to the side during shows!

umm, didn't Billy Joel say he was retiring a few weeks ago?

...Sydney's not exactly next door to Long Island.

Yeah, that's kind of how their shows are.
