bad album. some good songs. New York. Peace on Earth and BD are good songs

but IALW, Stuck, Walk On. this album is U2's worst

and Pop is amazing
How could it be the worst when this album re-applied U2 as the biggest rock band in the world after their failure, Pop?

You're taking Bono's comment out of context.  He was referring to the travesty that was the Sweetest Thing single.

Lifting up ATYCLB as some sort of masterpiece while calling Pop and NLOTH "mediocre".

I'm suddenly reminded of a popular Alanis Morissette song.

Doncha think?

Fun(ny) discussion.

I wore out my copy, too.  IALW can't even be read by my computer to add it to my digital music library (insert snarky comment here). Just last night, on a dark, mountainous, and rainy drive, singing along to the first half of this album kept me awake.

But I wore out my copy of Pop, too. It was the first CD I ever bought.  In fact, I just received a brand new copy of Pop for my birthday and looking through the booklet, I was transported back in time to the days when I'd call the mainstream rock radio stations and ask for Mofo.  ;D

I'm stepping in to defend IALW here, that song is class. ATYCLB is a half n half album for me. I think Stuck, BD, Kite, IALW, Walk On, WILATW and Wild Honey show strong songwriting, whereas the others don't really hit the mark. Certainly an album for simpler tastes than Pop but that's not a problem.

In A Little While is a great mellow little gem of a song. It just cannot be played live unless you're in a small arena or theater type setting.

In A Little While is a fine little ditty. It is everything it aspires to be. I don't mind Wild Honey either.

I heard them do this (IALW) in Detroit while Bono had the raspy voice he referred to in the video from this tour. It really enhanced the performance because it sounded more emotional.

I, too, was at this show. Great indeed.

Your radio station played Mofo? Nice.
