Has there ever been a title-guessing thread in the past where someone guessed close to the album title?

I remember back in the Bomb album, the money was on that album to be titled "Hannover Quay."

I do think "Songs of Ascent" would be a bad album title, not catchy enough to sell.

U2 could name the album "A Collection of Songs" and it would still sell amazingly

^NLOTH didn't sell well according to them though.

I agree with Jick. An album called Songs of Ascent would not sell well.

Anyways, I think it will be another long title. I can't think of a legit name though. I think it wil be named after a song on the album with a semi long title.

I may actually be in love with this title. I'd be very happy if it turned out to be the next one.

To me, odd thing about this title. It looks so poetic and U2-y in that black and white photo with a pensive-looking Edge and the white board. It really fits with U2's dare to dream theme throughout their career as well.

However, you can just imagine "Wake up and dream" as a line used by the likes of Selena Gomaz (bleh) and other teeny boppers. The words and idea of the phrase is simple. Perhaps too simple for an actual U2 title.

I like the Revelation one, but I think they'd get hammered a la Rattle & Hum.

While I appreciate Relevancy, I so don't want to encourage Bono in this train of thought...

I really like the Wake Up and Dream title - it could encompass so many ideas about them.

However, the idea of a one word title is intriguing.

How about U2 15 if we include the Wide Awake EP and UNABRS like they do on the official website. If not including those albums, then U2 13. Or, it could be how many years they've been releasing records - U2 33 and it better be 33! Plus, if it could be 33, that could also pertain to the resurgence of vinyl.

So, to summarize all that bunny trailing -
U2 13 or 15 or 33. I'm leaning toward 33.

The number 33 would also have that significance of Jeremiah 33:3 (on the cover of ATYCLB and in Unknown Caller).

Adam might appear laid back in interviews, but he was surprisingly vocal about choosing the album art design for NLOTH. Although he might leave all wordings stuff to Bono and Edge!
