The new album will be U2's final studio album and will be called "Man".

This is a sad thought, but, I'm afraid, I could see it happening.

I think they should. One last hurrah. I'd love it if it was called Man. You seem very sure Johno11....

If in fact they did decide to make a final album, I too would want it to be called Man.

What if they didn't give the album a title?

Like just have a picture, and then U2 somewhere on the front.

They'd never do that.

Man, you guys are all doom and gloom, I really don't think this is going to be the last one. How ironic would it be for them to have an album called "No Line On The Horizon" right before their last album?

Not that that's the only reason I don't think it's going to be their last one. Think about it...for as much as they're delaying this album, do you really think Bono is the kind of person who is going to be able to come to terms with simply hanging up what they have as a band? The man is a restless soul. When they retire, it will only happen because age forces them to or because they have a tour that sells very poorly, which itself is almost inconceivable too.

The new album will be released in early October 2013 and it will be called Fall & Down.
I'm sick of this story of final album. Boring  ???

I don't thinl they will know before hand when the final album is. It'll just be when they think they've hit a creative dry spell that turns into permanance.

So we've had a title starting with:
How___
No___
All ___

How about one starting with You____ ?

 f*** Up The Mainstream

("I'd like to give a message to the young people of America, and that is; we shall continue to abuse our position and f*** up the mainstream." Bono on the '94 Grammy's)

More like "Conforming to the mainstream".

Bono's need for relevance has meant a lot more of conforming to the mainstream then f**king it up. See the duets with Rihanna and Tiesto, working with Will I AM. etc...

There's a delicate balance between conforming to the mainstream and f****** up the mainstream that must be achieved. After all, you can't f*** up the mainstream if you're not part of the mainstream.
