It's too early for baseball :P

I already miss it.  :D
I'll start craving baseball after Bowl Season  ;)

Oh nobody likes college football. I got over that after the Apple Cup. And basketball is non-existent in Seattle...and I can't focus on the Seahawks alone!

So baseball. And the Mariners are gonna make the playoffs this year. I FEEL IT!

No they are not.  That's crazy speak.

But at least they won't be the worst team in the division anymore!  That's Houston

I forgot about that.

But yeah, the Mariners have a ton of rebuilding to go.

Angels signed Josh Hamilton.

$125 million, 5 years.

Scary lineup they got now.

C.J Wilson can rebound I think. And Tommy Hanson can be a terrific pitcher if not injured.

After that, I dunno.

C.J. Wilson had offseason ellbow surgery.

Tommy Hanson was horrific for the most part of last year.  His shoulder injury lingered and some scouts have referred to his shoulder as "mush".

They also have Joe Blanton, who is legitimately awful.

I like Jerome Williams though

Vegas says the Blue Jays are favored to win the World Series  :o

I mean...they made some good trades...but really? Even as a Mariner fan, the Angels are looking pretty scary right now...

Nick Swisher signs with Cleveland:  http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/cleveland-indians-nick-swisher-agree-to-four-year-deal-122312

Not looking for contention apparently.

To me, it all depends on 2 things.

1. Can Josh Johnson and RA Dickey successfully transition to the AL East? Also, can JJ stay healthy?

2. Can the team work as an actual team, or will it be a bunch of high paid players on one team ALA Red Sox with Lackey, Lester and crew

Oh I do hope you're right...I'd like nothing better to see the Angels (and Rangers for that matter) fall on their faces. But history shows that God hates the Mariners, so they'll probably be fantastic.  ::)

I legitimately think Oakland can easily win that division again.  Their young pitching staff is baseball porn to me
