If They Could Do It Over Again - NLOTH Singles

If U2 could re-release NLOTH, here's how they should have released the singles, in order...

Magnificent
Moment of Surrender
Get On Your Boots
No Line On The Horizon
I'll Go Crazy

I think that no matter the singles, the album still would have "not done well".

I agree with Starman 100%

1. No Line On The Horizon (NLOTH 2 might be better suited than NLOTH)
2. Magnificent
3. Breathe
4. I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight
5. Moment Of Surrender

Almost anything there would have been better than the horrendous Boots.

Cheers,

Agreed. Just release Moment of surrender, it's as inaccessible as the album so it doesn't matter. Still a very good tune.

Pretty much just for radio and pre album release on iTunes.

This and I'd love to have seen Cedars of Lebanon thrown in there before or after MOS. It would sound so amazing in the car!

Breathe could have been a single too, so I could also go w/ U2 obsessed and Proud's listing.

"Get On Your Boots" just should have not ever existed. The album would have been considered a classic if "Magnificent" was the lead single, followed by the title track, followed by "Moment of Surrender" and "Stand Up Comedy." "I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight" is ok...I just wish they could have reworked the hook and given it a less cringeworthy (shorter) title...it's so hard to stomach a band of their status with a song named that.

Agreed, just call it Crazy Tonight.

I wish we had the original riff of Stand Up which was on a video of them in at Hanover Quay called 'ten to four in the studio' it remains to this day one of their best recordings.

Where does one find this video?

1-Moment of Surender
2-No Line on the Horizon (2)
3-Magnificent
4-I'll Go Crazy...........
5-Breathe
They could all be single edits so U2 could finally get their "mainstream" radio play
