I would definitely be asking that if I were his age!  Did you correct him and tell him it's in Germany?

Not exactly a misheard lyric, but along the same lines.  On the song 'Gone', when Bono sings, "Goodbye..." does anyone else expect him to continue "....Ruby Tuesday".. I expect it everytime I hear that song.  Something about the melody, I guess.

Heard once in my sitting room "She-moo the Mysterious Whale". The singer was 4 years old though. Any other funny mis-quotes?

I remember this mis-heard lyric on the old forum, and the person thought it was:
"Shamoo the mysterious whale"

...which is of course, some famous whale. Not certain if it's mysterious though. 

"If you twist and turn away/If you turn yourelf into a gay"
