Breathe - Is it Malaysian or New Asian virus?

I had better be New Asian, because that's what I've been singing at the top my lungs for over a year now.

Haha! seriously go and have another listen. There's no N pronounciation. I really think its Malaysian... but what's the link between Malaysia and viruses?

Cmon, surely you've been to Johor Deco?

Haha! But seriously I dont get it with the lyric. Its definitely Malaysian virus but so far recent viruses dont originate from Malaysia nor has Malaysia done anything significant in the area of health.

Quote
"Breathe"

16th of June, nine-oh-five, door bell rings
Man at the door says if I want to stay alive a bit longer
There's a few things I need you to know
Three

Coming from a long line of
Traveling sales people on my mother's side
I wasn't gonna buy just anyone's cockatoo
So why would I invite a complete stranger into my home
Would you

These days are better than that
These days are better than that

Every day I die again, and again I'm reborn
Every day I have to find the courage
To walk out into the street
With arms out
Got a love you can't defeat
Neither down nor out
There's nothing you have that I need
I can breathe
Breathe now

16th of June, Chinese stocks are going up
And I'm coming down with some new Asian virus
Ju Ju man, Ju Ju man
Doc says you're fine, or dying
Please
Nine-oh-nine, St. John Divine on the line, my pulse is fine
But I'm running down the road like loose electricity
While the band in my head plays a striptease

The roar that lies on the other side of silence
The forest fire that is fear so deny it

Walk out into the street
Sing your heart out
The people we meet
Will not be drowned out
There's nothing you have that I need
I can breathe
Breathe now
Yeah, yeah

We are people borne of sound
The songs are in our eyes
Gonna wear them like a crown

Walk out, into the sunburst street
Sing your heart out, sing my heart out
I've found grace inside a sound
I found grace, it's all that I found
And I can breathe
Breathe now

Just like "clean" being pronounced as "crean" in Ultraviolet, Bono has done it again with Breathe.

No Line On The Horizon

I hear: I'm a traffic car, move to my right
Actually: I'm a traffic cop, Rue du Marais

Stand Up Comedy

I hear: Comedy people stand up for your love
Actually: Come all ye people stand up for your love

Electrical Storm

I hear: It's hot as Hell, higher than a shroom
Actually: It's hot as Hell, honey, in this room

Those are some of my favorites.  :D

So Cruel

My nephew hears: And you beat her like a drum

when it really is: And you need her like a drug

I hesitate to think about what else goes through his mind. :)

I always thought Original Of The Species went "The end is not as far as the start."

I will go back and listen to it but this has to be correct..

It's "the end is not as fun as the start" which makes sense when he next says "please stay a child somewhere in your heart"

Ok - I remembered this one today while listening to my old Rattle and Hum CD - from the track, Helter Skelter..

Lyrics are:  Ain't No Love But you Ain't No Dancer

What my son hears:  Ain't no love for chain hole dancer...

LOL

I know I've mentioned this before, but I always sang 'You got Jungle Jane and love supreme' in 'Angel of Harlem'.  Now I know it's 'John Coltrane', but I can't stop singing my Tarzan version.  :D

I always heard Jungle Jim  ;D ;D

"Baby, slow down, the end is not as fun as the start..."

I guess it's like "the nights you filled with fireworks" in Stuck in a Moment... nobody hears it...

I always thought it was "the end is not as far as the stars"
