I've probably already mentioned this, but so many albums I want to listen to are coming out before U2's where I don't mind the wait. Especially Daft Punk, which at one point was a massive obsession of mine for a year or so.  :D

I think they should use some color onto this album cover. I love the ATYCLB cover, like NLOTH's, but its time for something more colorful again.

Yeah, I don't think NLOTH's sales were helped at all by its stupidly boring and nondescript album cover.
I have worked in book sales. We would always joke, "you can't tell a book by its cover, but you can sure sell one!"  The same is true of record covers. Totally agreed.

I must agree here: NLOTH's cover design may be the weakest album cover they had during their entire career. Before, that honour went to HTDAAB but looking at that one today, it doesn't look uninspired anymore.

i can't stand October/HTDAABs covers. NLOTH's is fine to me. In fact i'll take it over another generic photo of the band.

^ Yup.

Although with 'October' I've always liked that old fashioned 60's design with the track listing on the front. Shame about the picture though, there's so much you could do with that title.

Oh, come on! How could you NOT appreciate the Adam Clayton fro?? That in itself is a statement of the 1980s.

I imagine the HTDAAB cover to be like something out of "office space". Bunch of execs discussing the album release and when "album cover" is the next item on the agenda they all look at each other and start saying " I thought you were handling that".

I feel the Oct. cover should of been the on the flip side of the cd book. The photo you see when you open the cd case/vinyl. I just not big on the album art being a photo of the band themselves <knock it off, Weezer>

I think the October album cover should have been just a shot of Adam's fro.  ;D

I know! There are so many awesome artists coming out with new albums this year. I can wait for U2 this year.

Last year I was craving a new U2 album because 2012 was just an awful year for music. U2 could've saved that year.
