I hope you guys have fun. i have district band rehearsal all day that day, so I can't make it. My mom said she would have taken me if I didn't have band though.

Bummer. The good news is the band is local and has several gigs scheduled.

They are supposed to be pretty decent. They do this as a full time job. So says their website.

It's on the calendar. There are things that might supplant it, but I'm going to keep it there!! I'd LOVE to see you all. Not as sure about seeing a tribute band, though.

My 21 year old just came in and asked me what 2U tribute band was. She heard an ad for them on DC101!! Still hoping to meet up w/ you all tomorrow night.

Put March 15th and 16th on your calendar. They will be at Looney's College Park on the evening of Friday March 15th and Looney's Maple Lawn/Fulton Saturday evening the 16th. Then they will be at the Towson Spring Festival on Saturday, May 4th. They will be at Fager's Island in OC this summer and on Aug. 31st they will be at Rams Head Annapolis!!

I hope you all enjoy your time in the Land of EC. I'd rather be there than stuck in an auditorium playing a clarinet for hours. But it is what it is (and besides, district band is fun).

We were a small but highly enthusiastic group last night. It ended up being a really fun night. MDMom rocks! Stay tuned for a full report and some really band phone pics.


2U is playing in the Balt area around St Pats so maybe this will give more of us a chance to get together.
