Simple enough question for those who have both. Which CD do you prefer?

Once you vote, post here saying what you voted for and why.

I chose Edge's Picks.

It just seems to have the better selection of songs on. HMTMKMKM, Breathe, Miss Sarajevo; all brilliant versions of these songs.

U22 is good but it is too long and there a couple of less-than-spectacular versions of the songs on it.

I voted Edge's picks - why? Your Blue Room, Hold Me, Breathe - a greater variety of song.

Have to say edges picks because they arent the songs that they constantly played on the 360 tour.  I think U22 does a better job of summarizing the tour but Edges Picks has a better setlist for me.

My vote is for Edge's Picks!
Definitely! These tracks should be on U22, all of them!
I would through half of the tracks on U22, preferring THIS selection.
Actually, I have voted for all of those tracks, when U22 set list was built, but probably I was a minority voting for them...

I have all three loaded in my car.  Edge's sounds better. Seems like I skip through more of U22.  Maybe I'm skipping to get to the ZooTV CDs?  I'm not complaining; I like them all and am glad to have them!

U22.

I like the rare cuts on Edge's Picks, but a huge chunk is pretty forgettable for me. The only ones I wanted were Electrical Storm, Your Blue Room, HMTMKMKM, Miss Sarajevo, and Breathe.

I still listen to the majority of U22 right now.

Edge's Picks has IALW and Stuck. U22 has Bad, The Fly, and OOC

I love Breathe, Electrical Storm, YBR, and 40. but it's not as good as U22

U22 was voted on by the fans, unless there was any rigging so that is the obvious choice.

But if Edge's Picks wins this poll, I guess this will be representative of how different the viewpoints of the "forum fans" are from the "regular fans", as shown also by the high marks many give POP despite the public's refusal to buy it and U2's declarations about it.

Cheers,

J

I don't think our views are much different than the casual listener's. By the way, I think the "radio edit" of Moment of Surrender should have been twice as long as the album version, and I hope that the new album sounds like a cross between Slug and Miami.

Power to the people.

At this point, neither the casual fans or the die hards will want another song like Vertigo or GOYB.

I think "Your Blue Room" on Edge's picks is awesome.  Love the Sinead O'Connor parts.  Makes me think U2 can dust off any of their songs and.make them sound fresh and spectacular.
