^Nickelback is worse than a 'has been' band, they're a 'never was' band.
Heck, they don't even count as a band in general

Name the new album :  Man
Name the first single : Chaos
Describe the sound of the album :  Rough, Dark... in a Black Keys meets Zooropa meets Jack White style
Whats Bonos style : Sophisticated but ragged
Which city will the kick off the new tour :  London

My thought is this album should be the complement to Boy but reflect on the 30+ years since that album was released.  They should reflect on where they and the world is and how much or low little it has changed.  It should be dark.  The style I think should some how blend the electronic European style of Zooropa with a sound like Danger Mouse gave the Black Keys on El Camino without venturing into Blues Rock itself (U2 can't pull that off).

By following this type of theme and style, they should abandon this need to appeal to their children's generation but rather cater to the experiences of all of us in our early adulthood to middle-ages.  I bet they would even find it draws more fan appreciation out of the younger people anyway, much in the way Achtung Baby did.

Oh well... I can dream.  I'm wondering what others would think of such a style.

Name the new album : How to lose 20 lbs in a month before the tour
Name the first single : Spidermans Web
Describe the sound of the album : pop rock from Saturn
Whats Bonos style : pink guyliner
Which city will the kick off the new tour : Saskatoon

My wife is from close to Saskatoon, and we used to live in Borden for a couple years. Everytime I/we drove by Sask Place I would comment on who the bands were they had playing- bands like Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Nickelback (a Canadian band so perhaps a different category). When Elton John came to town they made a really big deal about it in Saskatoon. The consistent pattern I noticed was that only "has been" or Canadian bands came to Saskatoon.  We used to joke that we never wanted U2 to play in Saskatoon, because if they did it would signal they had become "has beens".
I'd rather drive to Edmonton or Calgary than have them come to Saskatoon. Sorry to sound harsh.

No Pasha, it's not harsh, it's reality. Large concerts don't go to Saskatchewan simply because of the relatively small population. Saskachewan is only what, 1 million people in total, with their two major cities Saskatoon and Regina having 250,000 and 200,0000, respectively. Why would U2 or any major act spend their time in Saskatoon or Red Deer or Kamloops when there are so many other large cities with large arenas in North America?
