Least favorite album - Round 2

Rattle and hum is a bit of an incoherent mish mash. They should have made it a one-live-one-studio album.

As a studio album is how I think it should be judged here.

I went R&H, though I did it at the start of the poll, no strategy.

While I like the singles more than HTDAAB singles (though I'd rank Vertigo as my favorite song from both albums), I listen to the HTDAAB non-singles more often.

It will be a big surprise if ATYCLB goes out this early, though a triumph for its haters, of course! What's interesting is that October came last in our "Favourite Albums" poll and R&H, which is a top contender for going out next as well, came second last. ATYCLB, though, came right in the middle. If it goes out second here, that suggests that it really is a highly polarising album which many fans hate and many fans love, as opposed to something like R&H which seems to get a more general "meh" with few people despising but but few defending it.

I voted R&H not for any particular tactical reason but because, well, I really really dislike R&H!

I know people don't like R&H because it's part live and part studio, should have been studio only (and there were enough original studio songs to do that, and the band have regretted the split nature of the album often). Yet, the high quality of the songwriting of R&H lets it rule easily over HTDAAB.

Why are you not having a tie vote but exclude both at this step right away?

I'm also surprised ATYCLB got so many votes. But I'm biased cause it's my favourite. In fact, I'm now playing the song "New York".
