Sad news, first his brother now him. He was absent from the Stooges show I saw in the summer.

It's kind of sad that he died in a hotel room. I hope that he had some family and-or really good friends with him.

^ early signs were pointing to an overdose, which would really suck, as he finally got clean a couple of years ago.   :/

Damn. One of my earliest musical memories was hearing this song for the first time in an after school daycare program when I was 8 years old. The aide actually had a record player in the room along with a few albums and 12 inch singles. RIP Big Bank Hank. A great MC name, too.

Indeed!
This song was around for so long and will always remind me of my school days. It still sounds good and is lots of fun. Plus, it was the beginning of a whole new genre.
