I saw the stripes play in Detroit years ago. It was a fun time for local music and no, they weren't the best musically...no better or worse than the Ramones or Sex Pistols in terms of their playing. It was all about the energy of e crowd. Good times. AND I've always had a thing for female drummers😍

Some of the Stripes songs are quite good.  "Blue Orchid", "Dead Leaves", and the famous one of theirs come to mind.  (So famous I can't think of the name of it...but the band at every football game plays the opener...)

Saw the White Stripes do a show in Hyde Park about 10 years ago and it was great - on the other hand saw Jack White do a show in Brixton Academy four or five years back and thought it was awful, not helped by loads of twats spending the whole show trying to push and shove their way to the front of the crowd.

"Seven Nation Army" is the Stripes' most famous song.
