I'm taking bets on who will be done first: U2 or Metallica? ;D

I heard or saw a new snippet that had Prince on a bicycle the next day showing that he is ok.  I wasn't aware of the other thing, and had to admit when I heard the headline about a bicycle that I was envisioning a Bono moment.

Gene Simmons slams Prince, Paul Stanley slams Gene Simmons, Shannon Tweed (Simmons wife) slams Paul Stanley

Lots of drama in KISS-land this week. Big mouth and anti-drug Gene Simmons slammed Prince's death as "pathetic" this week. I guess Simmons doesn't understand there is a difference between being a partier taking drugs to get high and a guy who who got hooked on prescriptions to numb intense pain. Co-KISS leader Paul Stanley called Gene's statement embarrassing and clueless and apologized for them. Gene apologized. Then Gene's wife Shannon Tweed took to twitter and slammed Paul Stanley for "throwing Gene under the bus".

Next band meeting should be interesting.

RHCP's Anthony was taken to the hospital last night with severe stomach pain; he's still there. The band had to cancel last night's show at the Weenie Roast, as Kiedis fell ill just minutes before they were scheduled to go on.

We'll see what happens as far as next Sunday's RHCP at Rock On The Range.
