That chorus, it is incredible.
Bono: Absolutely kills it (which means he succeeds brilliantly, apparently it's what kids are saying these days). This song means a lot to him, and it shows. It might be the mix, but his voice sounds crystal clear. DM was really pushing Bono in the studio, and this is the result. Lyrically, melodically, emotionally... he's on top of his game here.
The Edge: Says so much with so little. Understated and perfect.
Larry: Artane Boys Band! Great to hear the spark is back.
Adam: The glue that binds the band, and the song, together.
My only con -- and it's such a small selfish one to be honest -- is I wish the song went out with a bang with that fantastic chorus. But this is the (RED) edit, so who knows how album version will sound.
Very happy with Invisible, it's exactly what I've been looking for. I've heard it played three times in public today. Once at work, I heard it playing in the background when I called a client. On the radio on the way home from work. And again on the radio at the local pub, which was the best out of the three.
If Invisible is a sneak peek at the album... take your time, boys. I can wait.
YOUR FACE LIKE SNOW!! Oh yeah, hello 1985! I missed you.
