And I'm a long way
From your hill of Calvary
And I'm a long way
From where I was, where I need to be

The Troubles:
I have a will for survival
So you can hurt me and hurt me some more
I can live with denial
But youíre not my troubles anymore

The Crystal Ballroom:
Wet the glass till the glasses sing
We punish our hearts till the heart bells ring
'Cause where we come from weíre not always kind
The human story is what love leaves behind

Cedarwood Road:
Sleepwalking down the road
Not waking from these dreams
ĎCause itís never dead itís still my head
It was a warzone in my teens
Iím still standing on that street
Still need an enemy
The worst ones I canít see
You can... you can

I'm naked and I'm not afraid. My body's sacred and I'm not ashamed.

This for me is the best lyric on the album, it's delivery and the melody of it is fantastic. Such a criminally undervalued song, should have been the first single.

It's such a bold song, it has a real 90s vibe similar to moorcheba, portishead and earlier Moby songs and I love it for those reasons. It reminds me of my younger days, probably why I'm drawn to it.

U2 f***** up by not making it the single....

It is the coolest thing they have done in terms of what relates to what sells now since Pop yet they ignored it and virtually ignored it live as well.

Kind of shows how out of touch they are with what
would make a hit.....it was a bold song but a very contempary song.....shame they missed a trick with it really.

Wonderful song...hits me where it hurts...deep inside...and then it brings me up again. I can never decide which version is better...I think the alternate might be the one.

So few words painting such a vivid, horrific picture.
