Bono's heard the new Noel album, wonder what he thinks of it.

Oh and Ballad is Noel's best single in years - top music, top beat, and that chorus soars for me. Something fresh and different from him finally.

About to release US tour dates. Assuming there won't be a Atlanta date since he's playing Shaky Knees, which I better be at

This was in my email today.

It is nearly tortuous, but for you fortunate London area fans - good luck!

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds to Play Intimate One Off London Gig!

Ahead of their forthcoming UK Tour Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will be performing a one off show at The Dome, Tufnell Park, London on Monday 2nd February.

This will be a small, intimate gig where Noel will perform tracks from the forthcoming 'Chasing Yesterday' for the first time. Tickets are EXTREMELY limited and therefore will be made available via a ballot system.

Enter your details here to register for the ballot before Friday 23rd January, 4pm

If you are successful in the ballot you will be notified by email after the ballot closes on Friday and given the opportunity to buy tickets between Monday 26th Jan - Weds 28th Jan.

Tickets are priced at 」25 (+ booking fee) each, limited to two per purchaser (tickets are strictly non-transferrable and purchaser photo ID will be required). The event is 14+ with under 16's to be accompanied by an adult.
GOOD LUCK!

Looks like the dates just dropped; the local one's May 3.

...oh, and it's "An Evening With..." show - no opening act!

if you could or are seeing either U2 or Foo Fighters, you get no sympathy. NONE.

I'm driving 3.5hrs, 7 hrs. and 11 hrs. for U2.  They really shouldn't be included in this; it's not fair to the others.  ;)

I could drive for Noel and am considering it. I have Cleveland at 6hrs. and Boston at 7 hrs, but Boston is a weekend and that would interfere w/ travel ball. Plus, I don't yet have that schedule and it's my other daughter's birthday the day before.

I could drive 40 mins. for the Foos anniversary bash on July 4th, but I'm not unless I get a good deal on tickets, which I probably won't. Heart is w/ Foos, but I just saw them last summer. They were terrific! Royal Blood isn't opening for the Foos for this show, so took out the need to buy a ticket. Although, if I don't have any other plans, am in town, and can find a ticket deal, I might consider going. There are fireworks to view.

NVM! They had Noel at Lincoln Theater, Washington in the email, but I thought it was the state of Washington because it didn't say DC! Yay! 40 mins drive on June 4th! YES!!!! But, my presale codes won't work, not even if I go through the email links or the website?

Great! So the presales sold out, but I could never access them to begin with.

I hope there are many more tickets for the general sale!

How many more days? Is it March 1st? Aaaahhhh!!!! Yay!!!

For my valentine's present to myself I think I shall go to Sound Garden and comb the vinyl, new and used. ;)

Really?! I'm tempted... I've already pre-ordered it this fall, so it won't be a big deal if I give it a listen.
