My husband loves to cook. He loves trying new recipes out. I'm a willing participant of his experiments. He made sauerbraten a few weeks ago!

I miss our recipe thread, there were so many recipes and also from all over the world here and different ethnic ones...i bet its here somewhere...

I am having chicken today, not sure what way I will make it yet and mashed potatoes
and a cauliflower and broccoli and for desert a keylime pie....simple but filling.

That will work and then you can just pick at it or make a quick sandwich.
Oh if you look in the archives of this place, you could find that thread...its actually very interesting, there were tons of recipes posted for awhile back then..from all over the place too!

A really nice (last time it was perfect) omelette with large shrimps and green onions and a dash of finely diced green peppers, plus a handful of green peas (peppers, half the onions and shrimps were gently fried). No cream or butter mixed with the eggs, and we leave about 1/5th of the omelette runny before folding.
