Songs played but not much
« on: October 07, 2015, 09:38:48 AM »
So, 52 different songs played so far on this tour.  Pretty solid.  But some have either fallen off the face of the earth or played very rarely.  I arbitrarily picked 8 times as the cut off played to date.  Which ones would you like to hear/see more of?

I picked:
Gloria
AIWIY
The Troubles
THBAO
IGC
Magnificent
ZS

(Really I'd take them all, but if I had to pick)

I'd vote for in gods country if it was a guarantee of the fast live version from the JT Tour. Not very interested in hearing the bare acoustic version again this tour

California desverves to be played! More than just the "there is no end to love"-snippet in Streets. Don't think I caught the performance(s?) of In God's Country on this tour! Where/when was that?
+the other new ones: especially Crystal Ballroom, Lucifer's Hands and The Troubles.
I would also vote for Ordinary Love, but that's not on the list ;)

2015-06-12 - Montreal  (I got this show, remember how surprised I was to gt Invisible and OL both, it was great.)
2015-06-24 - Chicago
2015-07-02 - Chicago
2015-07-10 - Boston
2015-07-18 - New York
2015-07-26 - New York
2015-07-30 - New York

Was that on printed setlist? Thought the band only played it because of the guitar fan they brought up wanted it

I voted for New Years Day (because it's one of my favourites) and Zoo Station, in the hope that they play it in the screen as they could do some really interesting things there!

I'm not sure it was on the printed set list but Bono told a fan before the show they were going to play it

Ahaa.. it's all coming back to me now. The audience member on guitar, yes. Ack, I love "In God's Country", musically it's got such a lovely flow and feel to it. Wish they'd play that one more, but perhaps it doens't fit all that well with the theme for the tour..
Come to think of it, Zoo Station really fits with the Experience theme, though! "I'm ready for what's next..."
