Fans in Melbourne

Hi to U2s many fans in Melbourne

Just letting you know my U2 Tribute Band - Bono and Bros have a gig at the Corner Hotel on next Monday night.

If anyone is up for some U2 tunes, then come on down.

We have 20 years experience so we are pretty tight and sharp.

Except that's not true is it. The corner has no bands playing on Monday night and I'm quite sure they have renovations going on most Mondays at present.

So how about you stop trying to have a lend

Also after 20 years your band has no Web presence at all?

That is right; we have no web presence.

We don't need one as we get gigs through word of mouth.

Websites are for people who want to big note themselves.

Fair enough.

So this gig on Monday, what are the details? Time, supports etc?

I'm keen to go, I'm at the Corner every week for something.

Just got word from our management that it as been moved to Friday the 26th August and we are supporting Twelve foot Ninja.

They have got their new album - Outlier.

As we are the support band; we just go where and when we are told. It can change around quickly without any of us having any say.

Hope to see you there. Come up to me afterwards as I usually watch the main act and I will buy you a beer.

Looking forward to it. Should be a contrasting night of musical styles.

Surely that is that you want to see..

Although we can play pretty loud when we want.

Depending on the Crowd.

So we might have to crank it up to 11.

Give me a wave and I will bring you up on the stage if you want.

When we start playing there will probably be only a limited amount of people there so you should be easy to spot.

Gr8, I will play up to you. If you get any decent shots maybe we can use them for our promos.

Apologies mate. We are not that big. Sounds like the acts you usually work with are bigger than us.

We are still on. I am really looking forward to meeting you mate. We will be toning our music up a bit to meet with the crowd but as always we will be Tres U2.

I don't doubt it for a second. I just can't wait for the corner's booking agents to become aware of it.
