Damn, if Soundgarden, Amon Amarth, Gojira and Red Fang end up playing the same day, that would be one of the best days of live music ever. Seriously. That fest's been improving the last 3 years, 4 ril.

moving on...

Conversely, this fest's been getting weaker over that same timespan.

I like this year's Hangout lineup more than last year, solely because of that top line. I'd love to go again this year but I'll be in London!

^ Almost certainly will. Lots of bands make their spring/summer/fall tour announcements in January.

So far, I haven't seen any announcements from bands I absolutely must see. Confident that will change in January, though.

Well, only had to wait a few days and now here's a concert I'll be going to for sure in 2017. Have wanted to see Tom Petty live for 9 years, but it was always too expensive before. This looks more doable given the venue in our state (which has cheap lawn seats).

Also had no idea these guys have only been a band for 40 years--it seems like it would be much longer.

My mom won Tom Petty tickets so it looks like I have that to look forward to!

Lucky! We found lawn tickets for around $40 each, so we'll be getting those (5 of us going, so it'll still be a little pricey).

I'm excited, though. Especially if it ends up being his last full tour with the HB.
