If you have questions that are specific to this city or venue, please ask them in here and other forum members will do their best to help. This is a great place to share information about places to stay or eat, as well as how different venues are handling the GA lineup -- things like that.

If you have general tour-related questions, please use the main TOURS board. If you're looking to buy/sell/trade tickets at face value, please use the Tickets Buy/Sell/Trade board.

Pitch 1 and Pitch 2. Anyone know the difference? I didn't see this in other venues.

Seen others online saying the GA in croke park being separated with pitch 2 being closest to the stage (like the pit) and pitch 1 being the rest of the GA

Thanks, yes it seemed so on ticketmaster. Was just a bit unsure, since I didn't see it on other venues and I believe the price for pitch 1 and 2 was the same.

Price is the same for them I would imagine they doing it in the hope it will decrease the size of questions for GA before the gig as no point people queuing for the pitch if they have a pitch 1 ticket etc

Never seen it done in croke park gigs before  (bar one direction which had 5 different sections on pitch) but think the pitch 1 and 2 idea been done in the aviva before gigs

Was there any mention of those tickets being paperless entry?

We received paper tickets in the mail for Dublin, and we live in the USA

The Croke website has plenty of information on getting to the concert, so I'm not worried at all about there. But I am wondering about getting back to the place I'm staying in Howth afterwards. Do any Dubliners know:
o   The last DART train from Connolly is on the schedule is at 23:24. Might they add a later train?
o   If train is not available, would walking over to Strand and catching a late bus be a good option?
o   Otherwise - What is the best strategy for catching a cab?
Thanks for any & all information.

Hi K2 - GloriaUaBRS from central WI - would love the answer as well from some locals. My husband has us going home to our Dublin apt on the bus, curious about safety and all...

Do we need a cc for Croke or just the souvenir ticket?
