The MSG concert has gotta be the Sept. 28, 1987, show with New Voices of Freedom. Setlist is a pretty close match, but a few songs are missing (including Bad):

I find Bad missing hard to ignore.  I'm sure the show will sound great, but that and TUF were so crucial to the original tour.

I'm sure there'll be complaints in this thread soon enough about money-grabs and stuff like that. Whatevs. No one is forcing anyone to buy it. This and Achtung Baby, I'll buy just about anything they release. And Unforgettable Fire.

TBH, I'm a little scared about what remixes of Streets and One Tree Hill will sound like. Not sure my ears need to hear new versions of those two songs, but I'll keep an open mind/ear and give 'em a shot.

This is a key short-coming for me. Perhaps they are wanting to highlight the JT songs, but leaving out Bad, Unforgettable Fire, October is the main reason I won't give this set a second thought. Kinda strange: a set that is really marketed for completists includes a butchered live set.

No, no, no, and a million times no.  This is just insane.  I do not have the burning desire to throw down $159+ on celebrating an album that was celebrated 5 years ago.  Then again, to each their own - but this is not for me.

God i am going to be skint. Will wait to see how much the super deluxe cd set sells for in the uk though...

Anyone had any experience ordering something like this from the u2 store to the uk? You can pay in but i am wondering where the item will actually be sent from and if i would be stung for import duties?

I take it i wouldn't be able to use my fan club coupon for this either?

I've never had to pay customs charges when I've ordered things from there.

Good point about the 25% off thing- might prefer order it and see if it works.

Wondering if it will still be available End of September? I have a few trips lined up with one of them being U2 in Amsterdam.

CD-Box ($109.95) and Vinyl-Box ($159.95) looks lovely, but tooooo expensive, imho.

I'm fine with all this, i'll probably buy some box. But i am not sure all of this would not happen if Trump wouldnt have won? What i say is that SOE has been on hold for a long time before the election. And this whole Joshua tree circus has been planned a long long time.

And that kind of attitude helps conversation how exactly?
