Tour Merchandise
« on: March 09, 2017, 10:43:31 AM »
I'm guessing U2 is going to make a killing on merch on this tour.  The artwork from TJT lends itself so well to t-shirts, hats, posters, etc.  I haven't really liked any of the stuff they have sold at any tour since Zoo TV, so I suspect I'll be loading up on a lot more than I probably really need.

Expect long line-ups at the merchandise tables!

Yep.  Elevation was my last tour shirt.

That said, I've not bought many shirts in the past 10-15 years, period.  I generally get a program and call it done.  I might be more convinced if there's a nice looking JT one this time, though.

So what would a 3 logo Joshua Tree shirt be?  A Stetson, a tree, and....?  A spotlight?  A cross?  An American flag?

The tree logo for sure
I like the spotlight or cowboy hat
And maybe some kind of 30 logo

Not a bad idea, really.

Anyone who has been to euro gigs, has there been any venue specific shirts and posters? Thanks.

Nothing specific to a venue, standard Euro tour tshirts with a list of the dates and where they're playing on the back. I bought one of the green ones at Twickenham, will see how much they are before I commit to buying one in Brussels as well.

That's a bit disappointing. Won't be spending as much money as I thought I would then!

No, not this time, which was disappointing.I still have my green Rome t-shirt from 2010 and I was hoping there'd be venue specific shirts this time, too  :(

I just cannot fathom spending more than twenty five or so for a t-shirt. Don't they go for like fifty bucks these days?
