One Does Simply Not Walk into Mordor = One Does Simply Attempt to Cover Pride

But. Holy Cow. Flyleaf ft. Richard Patrick knock it out of the park. Thumbs up.

Builds and builds into a fantastic cover of the song.

I really enjoy this cover, a bit more pop-rock than the original. I grew up hating this U2 song and this cover made me like it: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

I feel like these guys brought a new passion to this song vocally. Still prefer the original, though: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

I think this is a solid cover of One as well: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

If we're talking about Flyleaf doing a good job covering U2 songs, I really enjoy this one: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

There's some other covers I've run across, but these are the main ones I can think of.

Where is the infamous rendition of One some office worker sang at a presentation a long time ago? I feel as it was for a cell phone company or something... I was going to post it but I can't find the video anywhere.

It was awful, from what I can remember. They changed the lyrics to match what they were pitching...

I want to say it was Bank of America that did it, or some other bank. And it was a truly awful version of the song.

EDIT: My apologies guys, but here it is. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login Click at your own risk. And I was right, it was BoA. Which makes it even more ironic that this partnership happened 8 years later: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
