U2 Album Track Tournament - 3rd place play off
« on: May 08, 2017, 02:00:03 PM »
3rd place match up...so the two songs that got knocked out in the semi final.

The winner of this poll will take 3rd overall in this tournament.

So it finishes before the Final this poll is only running for 4 days rather than the usual week.

Vote away.

This could be a right battle royale.

The song that is their signature song of the 80's (and to many their careers) versus The Song that ushered in the brave new world of the 90's the era with the most vociferous fans here..

Let battle commence.

Incredibly difficult decision for a magnitude of reasons.  Today, I'm going with "Streets."

I think The Fly will win, and I will only be a bit sad when Streets loses. But, The Fly is just too great of an arrangement to lose this battle. OHMYGOD WHAT AM I SAYING?

Exactly! Maybe Street is a closer of an (very well played and fantastic (don't get me wrong)) era. The Fly is an opener to an era which was better and greater than his predecessor.

Yes, Vox. Very difficult. I love them both for very different reasons, but given how all this TJT redux has made me feel, it will be Streets for now.
A year ago, The Fly.
We're blessed to have such TOUGH decisions. ♥

Quite. This, too, makes me feel better if (when) Streets loses.

That's the benefit of an U2 Album Track Tournament: there will always be good songs winning. No need to be sad ;)
