There really are some wonderful people on this thread, some of whom I've met in real life. I remember when I wasn't able to make it to the Rock Hall for an event a few years ago, a couple of friends from here actually sent me a couple of souvenirs and a handwritten letter. And then there are the Christmas card exchanges, which I still feel bad about for never actually taking place in.

Don't have time to read every thread but read the first, I met 4 peeps off here, all amazing human beings... now I just need to meet a beautiful single woman off here that loves U2, travel, the gym, and guitar.

So wonderful to see there are so many caring people on this forum!  I just joined and riffraff was the first to comment on my post.  She said the people on here are great, and she was right!  If I win the lottery, I'll be sure to get you to a show, riff!

This flashes me back to U2ie Phoenix night 2...
I was there alone searching to buy a ticket, made a new friend who was alone & also searching. (I had money ~ just not the amount the people on the street were wanting!) We were starting to get frantic as it was almost showtime and we weren't having any luck. A stranger walked up and GAVE us tickets.
U2 fans have my heart.

GREAT story! I live south of the city...and people that live here are pretty good...but U2 fans are the best.  Oh - and I was at that show, too!

So, I just found out...
Okay, let me start again...the reason that the WONDERFUL person that offered me a free ticket actually HAD an extra ticket is because someone in her family wasn't able to go after the ticket had been purchased. As it turns out, that person IS now able to go, and the ticket was still available...how cool is that? I love when things work out this way! Good karma, all the way around. ENJOY THE SHOWS, PEOPLE!

Great story, riffy! I'd wish for you to be able to see a show ... but at least we have all the streams.

Thank you so much to everybody doing Periscope or mixlr streams!!!

I like there's a lot of discussion here. Zootopia is dead. Kinda sad for the official u2 forum.

I second both comments!
Also, I had no idea mixlr and periscope were a thing until the Vancouver show! Now I'm hooked! I need to brush up on the technological side if things I suppose!
