Liking this album a lot more than Reflektor, THIS is the sort of stuff I would have thought an album produced by James Murphy would have ended up like.

I hear more Flaming Lips than LCD Soundsystem influence on this album.

Anyone watch their set on the live stream from Lollapalooza last night?  Pretty good, though I tend to find the band a bit insufferable, live.

They ended their set with John Lennon's Mind Games, though, complete with snippets of Radiohead's Karma Police, David Bowie's Rebel Rebel, and their own Wake Up.  It was really beautifully done.

I thought an Arcade Fire thread would be more popular around here.

True. Amazing live band, should be tops amongst U2 fans. Saw them a few weeks ago, great concert.

I'm really liking the album overall. It's obviously not their best, and there are a couple of duds, but I don't completely understand all of the hate this album is getting. The title track, Creature Comfort and the last three tracks are all great. Love how the end of the album seamlessly flows into the beginning.

those last 3 are growing on me, especially the last one.
