My husband is a musician, and very intuitive. He said the other day that he thought Adam was the heart and soul of the band.
All that class and humility is very underated by the occasional listener I'm sure.
Adam ROCKS!!!!

Into the heart,

If I could only play the bass like he does, unfortunately I play "air" bass when I hear him from my livingroom computer. He is the heart and soul of the band when you think about it.

Ooh! That hadn't occurred to me...  ;D

I'm so proud today, because I just learned the bassline for "Vertigo"...  It's ridiculously fun to play... :D

Hey! That means you could probably play the bassline to Dirty Boots by Sonic Youth. They're similar.

I've learned "The Fly," too!  ;D Thankfully, Adam just likes alternating between the 5th and 7th frets... It's so nice and simple...

Some interesting news for you Adam lovers out there: our fave bassist is in my country, Brazil. He arrived last Monday to spend this New Year Eve in Trancoso, its a marvelous place in the south of the State of Bahia. He has been hanging around the small village, having some fun and relaxing. He was quoted saying that he just finished the recordings of No Line on The Horizon and also something like: "vacations here are exactly what I was in need, this is the first time I come to Brazil out off my professional agenda". He also said he wont be visiting other cities in Brazil, hes gonna spend the reveillon in Trancoso.  :)
