Question about trading live music?
« on: June 23, 2017, 06:51:41 AM »
I asked this in the New Member Section but didn't get a specific answer.

I've been collecting U2 music now for 3 decades.  And last year my home was broken into and my entire record and cd collection was stolen.  I lost my computers, my tv's, and strangely they even stole my Darth Vader toaster.  (probably teenagers).  I had collected U2 live music since the early 90's.  And I lost every single show I had.  I hoped to get back into trading live shows, if possible.

I wanted to ask if concert show trading was allowed here?  If it is, are the rules around here?  Is there a section?

Thank you!

---Chuck

Not sure how that works, but if it's allowed I have some shows I'd be willing to send .
P.S.
Sucks about your toaster

Just found what you may be looking for. Go to the Tours section. Within that section there is a "Tour Sounds" section which explains everything.

Thank you!  That is perfect.  I would never have thought of calling it "Tour Sounds!"  Very clever!

Thank you again!

Hey Chuck,

We allow the discussion of bootlegs, but trading via the forum is not a business we want to get into here. U2Start is a good resource for downloading live shows if you're only looking for the audio.

That said, I've asked one of our staff members for some resources about trading, since he's the king of all U2 live gigs. I'll let you know when I hear back from him.

Cheers
