Hawkmoon, surprised it gets mentioned here, because I love that song, but did not realise it was a fan favourite.

If The Fly is not on the list, then the list lost all credibility

It's not a big fan favorite, I may be ALMOST the only big, big fan of Hawkmoon. No Fly, no Hawkmoon, no Wire, no EP&A. I don't think I like this list!

i would gut Stuck In A Moment, Vertigo and Walk On from the list because they are horrible and should just be forgotten.  Discotheque and Every Breaking Wave I would put closer to 50 and Beautiful Day i would put in the middle of the pack.  I like that No Line is included but Moment of Surrender i would remove.  Also I would place All I Want Is You in the top 10.  Otherwise the top 10 is about what I would expect from the Rolling Stone.  I would personally have With or Without You as number 1.

I think for me Bad is probably their best song ever, because it does something with me, and I cannot explain, but its the only song that has me in tears when I hear it live.

Lists are not made for anybody to agree. This is the preference of that magazine and I think the list is cool (bringing good songs from all eras), even if I'd change it from top to bottom.

Nice list for its recognition of Pop, Zooropa, and some of the deep cuts and post-2000 tracks, but The Fly and a couple others being missing is a travesty. I would've thought that RS would've really thought about it considering the website has been kind to the band over the years but I guess not.

It's Rolling Stone - you'd get a more credible list from john galt, il_capo, riffraff and myself after a day drinking toilet duck.
Yup. By the way, I am QUITE proud to be on your list, an tha. Even if we are drinking toilet duck.

I figured you'd still be able to shout 'Streeeeeeeeeets' and 'Hawkmooooooooooon' even after such a heavy day.

Undoubtedly! Um, what exactly is toilet duck?
Is Wire on the list? Is EP&A? Darn, I sure wish I could view it...

OMG! So, THAT'S why I look like I do? Because I've been nipping on the Toilet Duck?
