Oh, Oh's in U2 Lyrics

Seems they like to use the Oh, Oh's quite a bit.  Works well for a live audience especially.

What are some of your favorite or what you consider cringe worthy uses of the Oh, Oh's?

The Miracle (Of Joey Ramone), Pride,  immediately come to mind, the first somewhat cringy, the second one of my favorites.

Bad is the only song that I can think of where it works well.

Yeah, I didn't really care for the super long entrance during SOI with all those ohohohohohohohoh's before The Miracle. Just play the song, lads. But I was still thrilled to be there!

I always liked the one at the end of Surrender; 3:42 to 4:39.

Treasure starts with a good one as well.

A while back I made a recording of all the oh-ohs from NLOTH, the file is a full 2:30 long. That's practically a whole song's worth of oh-ohs.

Trust me, I'd never forgive myself for stealing two and a half minutes of your life away from you....

Nothing wrong with Oh Oh's, but sometimes wish I could hear the other 3 members playing. Overall I like legato, staccato not that much.

I quite like Magnificent but despised the oh ohs Bono would do at the start of it live. Just unnecessary.

The oh ohs ruin NLOTH. All the dirgy, boring songs like MOS, Unknown Caller are full of them.
It's no coincidence thst the best songs are oh oh free: WAS, Fez, Breathe,  COL.

I love the "oh ohs" in The Miracle of Joey Ramone. And in all their songs, I think.
