If this were a court ruling I would still be confused.

This needs to get kicked up to U2 - SCOTUS.

Shall we assign 9 posters to hear the case from 2 lawyers representing both sides?

A great idea - we could literally have the case play out on the forum and reach a decision.

Could be real fun.

Another great case in the pipeline is the great question if OST 1 is a U2 album. We could hear the arguments.   Ask questions.  Then each Justice writes an opinion that will result in the decision.  I nominate you An tha, you seem to have a deep knowledge.  I've only been a member since February, but as somebody that was deported from another forum after 12 years, I bring a fresh perspective not swayed by long lasting friendships here.  I will volunteer my services.  I'd also nominate WookieWarrior as a younger fan who has brought up similar questions himself, brings a different view.  The dude can't vote yet in the US might as well give him some civic responsibility.

This would be hilarious.  And remember those with super strong opinions can be those making the arguments.

Could definitely be fun....i have seen and been a part of these sort of things in the past and they can make for some brilliant reading and some genuinely engaging debate, plus some great comedy.

Thanks for your kind words but i'll take a watching brief on this one - there are people much better placed than me to lead something like this....be a really good idea to play it out though with all the full 'case' style stuff as well!

The make up of the court can change between questions.  I'd like to play Justice on this one because I voted Not Sure and would love to be lobbied.  Other questions I would want to play prosecutor or defense.

Probably won't fly on here to be honest (would like to be proven wrong though)...

Takes a bit of commitment. I think this thread is good enough.  Funny idea though.

An Cath Dub sounds good alone, but Into the Heart brings some kind of "closure" and comfort to the piece, making it much more powerful.

Into the Heart feels incomplete and lost if you separate it from ACD.
I personally never listen to it alone.

I could never consider them as separate entities

One of the funniest threads i have ever had the privilege to be a part of was a three day long 'trial' on a forum.

It was all firmly tongue in cheek but was done with full prosecution, defence, judge - the works.....it was an absolute riot - some comedy gold.

Yes.  Using courtroom jargon in a class action suit simulation vs Apple as to whether they should charge $1.29 to download Freedom For My People

3 in one with Out of Control.  They used to call them the Trilogy.  One song with 3 movements?

2 different tracks for me, not linked in any way other than the outcome/intro. The lyrics don't speak to each other and they work independently.

It's one song with two distinctive parts.

I still find it idiotic that the US releases separate it as two individual tracks.
