Best European Shows Of Current Tour
« on: August 02, 2017, 08:59:48 AM »
Has anyone been to ALL European shows?  I attended 4.

- Twickenham
- Barcelona
- Dublin
- Amsterdam

Barcelona was the best by far - band seemed most visibly into it, crowd were on form and atmosphere was the best.  Anyone attended numerous shows and got a view?

Paris 2 was better than Paris 1 - both really good shows.

Berlin, Amsterdam 1 and 2....Berlin was best! But both Dam shows were awesome for different reasons, 2 just shades it from 1 due to IWF and omission of MW

Twickenham and Brussels - enjoyed Twickenham more, partly because the stage was a better set-up and I had a far better view, and also because it was pretty much the same show in both grounds, so the novelty had worn off a month later.

I did Twickenham 2 and croke park. Twickenham 2 was on par with London 6 on i&e and could be the best I've ever seen the band.

I enjoyed Barcelona the most - sound was great as stadium was pretty much open at the top

Agree. Seen every tour since Joshua Tree except Lovetown, and I thought it was really good. Solid playing, great crowd.

I did both London shows and Croke. It's about the entire experience for me and i always make new friends at U2 gigs. London 2 was amazing, although i didn't like it they ended with one, it's not a good show closer imo. Croke just so happened to be my 50th U2 gig, and the flyover and atmosphere and the new friends i'd made really did make it a special night for me. The only letdown was ASOH wasn't played at any of those 3 shows :( booo! hehe but overall i absolutely enjoyed JT30 :D
