I don't think I would like a AB tour but I would like a McPhisto tour. Bono is McPhisto in some ways now and acknowledging that might make for an honest tour. Of course, logically, the tour could only play vegas

Obviously, the transcendent trio of 90s albums would be a delight, most especially Zooropa and Pop.  Sadly, Lemon will have to be played differently as I don't think Bono can hit those notes anymore, but I'd still love to hear it.

Additionally, I'd love to hear Original Soundtracks 1 in its entirety as well.  It could be cool to have Eno join them on stage (though he'd likely decline, plus I'm not sure they're on the best of terms, along with Lanois).  But I guess that record doesn't count, so I'll go with The Unforgettable Fire, which is also brilliant.

  • I know I'm not a hopeless case.
Boy would be really special and oddly I think they could do it more justice than any other album live. TUF would be great as well. And I can't leave out AB as my favourite album.

When they did that club show a few years back it was Boy heavy, but I think they'd be a bit embarrassed playing some of the tracks off it now - e.g. Shadows and Tall Trees.  I think when I voted yesterday Boy was one of my picks but on reflection I think I'd prefer to hear them attempt October.  Other votes were for Pop, AB and TUF.

I picked AB, Zooropa, Pop, and War. To be honest, after AB and Zooropa, there weren't really any "must haves" that came to mind. Pop has a lot of great songs, but I can do without hearing "Playboy Mansion" live. Ditto for War--some great tracks there, but some I don't really care to hear live.

War over TUF... interesting  :)

I want to hear Pop because there's so much of it I've never heard live.  To be good it'd have to be in an arena or something smaller.  Perhaps they could do a club gig and record it - I imagine The Playboy Mansion working well in a club setting.

Similarly I'd like to hear October as the songs on it get aired so rarely, and Scarlet sounded very evocative on 360.  By contrast U2 have gone back to much of the Boy album over the years.
