I just read Sinéad is going to be speaking with Dr. Phil next week (Tried to post the teaser link for the show but for some reason isn't working for me).

I could barely get through the teaser...made me feel very uncomfortable and sad. Mental illness is a crusher. It destroys lives and families. I can't say I understand the reasoning behind being so fragile and going on a show like this. I hope it means perhaps finally being a step in the right direction for getting some serious help rather than her "people/management" trying to make yet another buck off her before she crashes deeper into the deep end.

Indeed. I saw her perform years ago. What a great voice. Hope she eventually takes small baby steps to feel better.

I hope that Dr. Phil doesn't exploit her for ratings in her fragile state.  There's certainly a fine line between promoting awareness and making a buck off of someone else's misery.

i didnt watch the episode, but how did it come across?  how does she appear to be doing?
