Reading through this thread, I'm a little confused.  I haven't had a U2 subscription in a while but I signed up again for EI tickets.  I picked the option for the Joshua Tree singles.  But it seems like I have to take an extra step to receive them?  In the past I automatically received it simply by subscribing.

I think this is what Historians call 'a watershed moment'. If you choose JT 10 inch singles then you have to confirm that you want this gift with proper address. This is probably due to production costs. The 2018 gift has not been announced with special winter gift which is probably a download.

How to I confirm that I want it?  I read about a "Redeem" button on my profile page but I don't see anything.

Not sure. Clean your cache, use a different browser, reboot etc.

They might have changed the HTML when verified fan boondoggle came in.

Is it possible that because when I subscribed I specifically selected the Joshua Tree singles that I'm just automatically set to get those (as opposed to the other option that was the 2018 gift)?

That could be likely. Check the order status on u2.com and be patient.

Ok, cool.  It seems that it was only for renewing subscribers.  Also I checked my Order Status and it shows that The Joshua Tree singles is on there.  It doesn't have a tracking number or anything yet though.

Has there been any info about the 2018 gift? Someone mentioned
the possibility of a Joshua Tree current tour live audio release

I'm renewing my subscription right now and realized I haven't yet received my 2017 gift. I redeemed the Joshua Tree Vinyls and when I sign in to my account it says that it has been redeemed. Is anyone else still waiting on their gift?

I'm still waiting.  I emailed them and they said they are getting more in February until they get more and they will go out in the order that orders were received.  Why does this not exactly give me confidence that everyone will get one?

I haven't received mine yet (I live in California).  I also re-upped my sub before the end of the year for the promised special something (never heard what that was).

I'm very disappointed in U2.com/Fanfire of late.  I pre-ordered the Extra Deluxe LP+CD version of Songs Of Experience but didn't receive it until December 26.  It was also more expensive than Amazon and others.  I only bought from the U2 Shop to get early access to those three (later four) songs.  Thankfully, someone posted a bootleg of the album, otherwise I wouldn't have heard the album for a couple of weeks when the CDs from TicketMaster arrived.

My previous two orders also had damage (Tour book was bent, JT 2017 had tear and no download card).  They are also VERY slow to respond to complaints.  I will not be purchasing merchandise from them in the future.  I may not even bother renewing my sub for 2019.

I'm still waiting. I emailed their support back in the fall and was told the singles would be delivered in December.
