just because the world makes changes through the election process and Bono doesn't agree with them, doesn't necessarily mean that the world is on fire, just that the band is unhappy with how things are going.
 and i need to point out, that's not me talking politics or expressing a view one way or another

I think I'm going to take that idea and use it in the way the world currently is.  If joy really is an act of defiance as Bono says - I really really am looking forward to hearing this album in full.

Given that TJT2017 gave me such a lift a few months ago, this is going to be one extra joyous December.  Happy Christmas everyone!

It depends on how you view 'on fire' - negatively (destructive) or positively (energy / spark)......

The world has changed from last year in a most palpable way.  Whether you view that as good or bad is your opinion, but there's no doubt that it's changed.
