I've sure this has been asked and discussed before, but I'm interested in a list of some of U2's absolute best live performances which, for one reason or another, strike a chord. The performances needn't be there biggest or most obscure or most defining moments, just something that for whatever reason really resonated. Particularly, I'm looking for good sound quality, and I'm more interested in individual songs rather than composite pieces - albeit some songs will likely come from these. Post your favorite or least favorite, underplayed or overplayed, just so long as you think it's a killer live performance - and maybe something someone else hasn't seen before.

A few to start on my end, in no particular order:

1. Every Breaking Wave (EMAs): You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
2. A Man and A Woman (Clinton Foundation Concert): You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
3. Exit (Denver, 1988): You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
4. Please (Rotterdam): You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
5. Kite (Boston 2001): You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
6. Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own (Milan 2005): You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
7. In A Little While + The Fly (Boston 2001): You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
8. All I Want is You + Where the Streets Have No Name (Slane Castle): You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
9. Stuck In A Moment (Letterman): You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
10. Peace On Earth / Walk On ("American: A Tribute to Heroes"): You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
11. Miss Sarajevo (Decade of Difference): You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
12. Stay (Faraway, So Close!) (Boston 2001): You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
13. Until the End of the World (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame): You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
14. The Ground Beneath Her Feet (St. Patrick's Day 2000): You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Some of their biggest were difficult to pinpoint an absolute best live performance, but if you have one feel free to share.

I liked the 'Until the end of the world' clip.

Bono walking out into the audience who were not exactly enthusiasic. However they were on their feet near the end.

Bono took a risk taking the champagne bottle. The table may have not let him. Or Bono may have had trouble opening it.

Ooh, I would be very interested SwimmingSorrows! I've tried compiling playlists before, either on youtube or otherwise, but something happens and they're always lost or deleted.

<spews iced tea>

Bono knows his way around a champagne bottle. He's more experienced than any matre'd.

That's hilarious.

Totally with you re Self Aid. Surely one of the best ‘Bad’s. I love the way Bono puts his arm up to quieten the band so the crowd can sing. Epic!

Adam in a skirt and wig with a cigarette hanging from his lip is the highlight.

Man, they got crickets for sure.
