Songs covered by U2

Is there a thread like that already? I looked around but didn't notice anything. I would be interested to know what are people's favorite non U2 songs covered by them. After last year's @U2 Fan poll results were published, someone commented on how many newer fans probably aren't aware of all the different songs U2 covered. What are some least known songs they covered?

@lmighty DS:
well, they sing a verse or 2 of other songs at the end of alot of songs, Bad into Ruby Tuesday & Sympathy for the Devil, Discotheque into Whole Lotta Love & Black Betty....etc, but i guess alot of people may not know they cover a Ramones song called Beat on the Brat. By the way, i had no idea The Saints Are Coming was a cover, who did the original?

Dream Out Loud:
My favorite U2 song is Bad.  and as most of can agree, the live versions are miles better than the studio version.  One of the nice things about the live versions is all the covers that Bono breaks into near the end (Ruby Tuesday, Sympathy for the Devil, Satellite of Love, Walk on the Wild Side).

For full blown covers, generally I would say U2 isn't very good at it.

As Bono has often said, they may be world's worst cover band.  They've butchered a couple songs, notably on 'Rattle and Hum'.  I thknk somebody mentioned 'Helter Skelter', but I also didn't like 'All Along the Watchtower'.  In fact, I can't think of a full-length cover that I actually like.
