How would you feel if U2 played No JT songs on the SOE tour & other rarities instead?

Hallelujah! It's about damn time!  Hooray!
Ok, but I don't want to hear some songs like The Playboy Mansion
Ok, but every U2 show has to have Streets (and maybe a few other JT songs)
No!!! Most of the audience will want the hits and will barely tolerate new SOE songs. Forget about the rarities.
No. I want different rare songs played and/or they shouldn't ignore The Joshua Tree.

I say Streets only.  Anything else too bad. You missed the Legacy tour.  U2 should do what they want and not be boxed in for once

But.  Streets.  Streets, man, Streets!  That's mass without eucharist!

Well then, UTEOTW is a must.  A must, I say.
Right! Really missed that song this tour! Hope it will come back again, IE-version was pretty good.

  • Worst things in the world are justified by belief

It would be interesting to go to a U2 show and hear mainly 1990s/2000s/2010s stuff.

However, I feel U2 should keep 2-3 1980s crowd pleasers like Streets, Pride, and With Or Without You or else the casuals will be bored like others have stated.

Do, if they ignored The Joshua Tree songs, would that also include the rarely played b-sides?

How can you hate Streets? Or Pride?

I don't "hate" them. I just don't ever want to hear them live again.

Every time U2 starts playing Streets, the energy ramps up slowly but massively. Do you want all the casuals to lose that?

ATTENTION! It's not just the casuals that love Streets!  :D

I'd love to see/hear PopMart all over again but NEVER at the expense of Streets ... U2 would be insane to drop that track ... Any fan calling for Streets to be dropped is just attention seeking in all honesty

The reality is they'll do 1-2 pop songs and 1-2 JT songs on the next tour. Maybe 3-4 SOI songs, 6-8 SOE songs. And then the usual big hits.

1. The blackout- they could have the giant lightbulb go on and off
2. vertigo
3. Elevation
4. Beautiful day
5. Best thing
6. SOE
7. SOE
8. SOE
9.  Raised by wolves
10. Love and peace or else
11. SOE
12. Please
INTERMISSION
13. Inside screen/ e stage -The miracle of joey
14 . E STAGE- Out of control
15 E STAGE- mysterious ways
16 E STAGE- Ordinary love
17. E stage- every breaking wave
18 SOE
19) Song for someone
20) WOWY
21) COBL
22) streets
23) One
24)  love is all we have left

Okay, but what about for regions like NZ/AU where they haven't been since 360? I was too young to go when they came to Auckland last time, and the last two tours haven't been here at all, so I'd be pretty gutted if I missed out on what might be my only chance to hear some of the Joshua Tree songs or other classics live. Don't get me wrong, I'd love some rarities and all that (still holding out for Acrobat) but I'd be annoyed if they skipped some of the big classics here just because they did it in the past two tours, which didn't come to this hemisphere at all.
