Best Deluxe Album

U2 has released a few deluxe albums over the years and they're all placed on spotify, or maybe you own one of them.

Which deluxe album do you like the most? It's not about the original album, but about the extra versions that are added. So try to not think about the original album. If there are more than one deluxe versions of an album, you can pick the largest/favorite of them.

My points go to Boy, JT and SOI.

I think lot of albums needs a Deluxe Edition, too.

War, TUF, and JT for me. TUF has some great extras (Disappearing Act), as does JT (Wave of Sorrow).

Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby get my votes. Love JT because it doesn't have a bunch of remixes of album tracks like a lot of the deluxe editions do.

I'm still holding out hope for a deluxe Rattle and Hum - next year will be the 30th anniversary. It had some of the best B-sides they've ever done and would make for a great second disc.

I'll tell you something: I have never listened to Disappearing Act nor Yoshino. It's not available at Spotify here

the deluxe AB that came out 6 years ago with 4 CDs and 3 DVDs is by far the best.

JT from ten years ago. All B-sides, good DVD.

AB is a close second - might have been no 1 had they not released Sydney yet again.

i like that JT edition also.  love the doc that it included.  compliments rattle and hum perfectly.  wish they would release a deluxe edition for all their albums the way they did JT and TUF.

haha, thanks! Will listen to it. But it's a pity I can't listen to it on spotify. For me U2 songs are at its best when they're played in an album

No, but they will be nice.

Well.. Rattle And Hum is a sort of deluxe of the Joshua Tree. I think a Deluxe Edition of No Line can be nice, too. (Soon, NLOTH2, Mercy, Glastonbury, Boy from the sky, Every Breaking Wave)
