On the topic of pizza, I just had a great one at "The Cabin" in Mt. Pleasant, MI.  It's hard to find a really good pizza these days, and this pepperoni one was to die for!

I think it's the most watchable U2 video in a long time.

Even Larry looks like he hasn't been dragged kicking and screaming there.

true... but note he's missing in action for the pizza (and other scenes)  (:

I love it!  Probably cause that's my city and I know all those places.  Also nice that some of it was filmed on 9/11.  And they look like they were having a good time.

It would be better as a music video for New York...

Reminds me so much of The Sweetest Thing, song too. And a little Rattle & Hum with a dash of ZooTV. I like this U2.

PS Bono's hair looks great. Finally.

PPS Loving the song's applicability to America.

PPPS Is Adam eating at home? He scoffed that pizza down like a bear just woken from hibernation.

MEOW! I like it, too. Agree with each of your points.
(Adam can't eat at home...the baby screams too much!)

Gives me the 'I Still Have Found What I'm Looking For' Vegas Strip video vibe.

Video is great but the song still doesn't do it for me. More I listen the chorus just way to "poppy & boyish band" to me. I think they should've pushed The Little Things That Give You Away much harder as they are pushing this song. The Little Things...blows this song to pieces. IMO.  ;) ;D

Maybe we are all getting on a bit.  I just played the video and before it a Senakot constipation medication ad came up.....at least I saw the funny side.

I would probably take any kind of music U2 throws at us, I've been waiting 3 years for a new U2 album!

It's worth saying, {long time lurker '98 no enough contributior} that the acoustic version of Best Thing is f****** exceptional. Bono in fine voice.

Bono has been through some sh..te lately, so I'm not going to begrudge him his America worshipping, his goofy grins, or his pizza.

Very good point. I do think they make their best music when they're angry, but I also wouldn't wish a permanent diet of that as inspiration on anyone.

The black convertible is an homage to Entourage (maybe)

Just heard it on the local pop station, AND, I heard it on a 20 something's ring tone!
