Release of 'The Joshua Tree - New Roots' on 27th October

This article has the full tracklisting and irish artists who 're-imagine' The Joshua Tree in aid of Lauralynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice. The last track is U2 doing a live version of Red Hill Mining Town from Amsterdamn earlier this year.

some good names and some meh artists on there. Not exactly a who's who of Irish music at the minute, notable absentees including the Script, High Kings, Bell X1, Damian Rice, though Kodaline's cover of RTSS should be interesting.....

Fangclub maybe the only one that might be anyway interesting. The rest are just bland pop acts.
